Artificial Intelligence Quartermaster (AIQ) is a global investment house dedicated to harnessing the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence. With a vision to make AI ubiquitous—everywhere, in everything, and for everyone—AIQ addresses the challenges of business adoption by integrating human-led and machine-driven processes.
The company combines world-class expertise in AI, innovation, and investment to drive value and position itself as a key player in the AI landscape. AIQ’s unique identity is symbolized by its logo, inspired by an 85-year-old maple bonsai tree monitored by AI, reflecting the company’s blend of tradition and cutting-edge technology. With a global presence spanning San Francisco, London, Paris, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, AIQ is led by co-founders Charles-Edouard Bouée, Alexandre Cadain, and Antoine Blondeau. Together, they bring extensive expertise in strategy, disruptive innovation, and digital transformation.
During my time at Anima, I served as the Creative Director of AIQ. I created a compelling visual identity for the company, designing a logotype that embodies sophistication, strength, modernity, and innovation using the Swiss Font Collection from Swiss Typeface. For the insignia, I drew inspiration from the bonsai tree, symbolizing AIQ’s harmonious blend of tradition and cutting-edge technology. This design was complemented by a blurred background pattern, evoking the impression of viewing the tree through frosted glass, which adds a layer of mystery and elegance while symbolizing a gateway to discovery and innovation.
An integral part of the project was the development of AIQ’s website in collaboration with Jump, a Hong Kong-based development agency. As AIQ’s Creative Director, I led the project from Paris, working closely with the management team in Belgium. The brief was complex, requiring specific UI animations and an integrated music player that interacted with the landing page visuals. I envisioned a robust and engaging UI with dynamic animations and interactive elements. Jump followed my recommendations, and we worked hand-in-hand to bring the vision to life. The site has detailed content management capabilities, allowing the client to edit images, text, and music tracks. The final product is a testament to the meticulous work of both the design and development teams, resulting in a highly engaging and functional site.
